The final spot up for grabs for this weekend American Cup has been announced and USA Gymnastics confirms that the spot will be filled by (drum roll please)....

Today on ABC's Good Morning America, the cast of the spring 2013 season of Dancing With the Stars was announced and London Team Captain and gold medalist Aly Raisman was confirmed as part of the cast. Which dancing professional is she dancing with?

Recently, Romanian gymnast, Diana Chelaru announced she would be retiring from elite gymnastics.  In October, she'd left the national team's Bucharest training facility to return home to Onesti. The 19-year-old had been struggling with life on the national team and was reportedly homesick.

Now earlier this week, Alicia Sacramone "officially" announced her retirement. It's for real this time.  Alicia, who has been an elite gymnast for over 10 years,has served as team captain for the USA in Beijing and has been a steady leader on the USA Gymnastics scene.
