Olympic Gold Medalist Laurie Hernandez made the transition from the floor exercise to the ballroom on Monday night's premiere of Dancing With the Stars .

The big news of the week is the Nastia Liukin has signed on to do "Dancing With the Stars," following the footsteps of her teammates Shawn Johnson and Aly Raisman.

There was "Strictly Come Dancing" on the BBC, then the Americans copied it and named it "Dancing With The Stars." Now, the British Broadcasting Company (BBC) is developing Dancing's gymnastics counterpart. The aptly titled "Strictly Come Gymanstics." According to an article on Yahoo UK, the BBC is working to develop the show to appear in 2014. They're looking at bringing Olympic bronze medalist, Louis Smith on as a coach.

Week Four of Dancing With the Stars turned out to be a lucky week for Fierce Five team captain, Aly Raisman. This week, the gold medalist topped DWTS's leader-board with her contemporary dance. Her Fierce Five teammates, Gabby Douglas and Kyla Ross showed up for a mini-fierce five reunion of sorts. This week's theme was "The Best Year of My Life". No surprise, Aly chose 2012 as the best year of her life. The routine this week also had to include a 15 second solo. Her partner, Mark Ballas told her to represent the years of repetition and hard work going into the Games. "No one expected her to place and she walked away the most decorated US Gymnast of the Olympics," Mark said of Aly's Olympic journey.

Aly Raisman officially went from the balance beam to the dance floor this week on Dancing With The Stars. On the season premiere, fierce five team captain, Aly and her partner Mark Ballas danced the cha-cha for their first dance. Mark and Aly hit the floor wearing that ubiquitous hot pink that the USA gymnasts seem to love.

Earlier this week, ABC released cast photos for the latest cast of Dancing With The Stars. Aly Raisman's photo was released with the bunch. Check out Aly's transformation from a gymnastics darling into a ballroom diva. Aly trades in her American flag leo for a daring short sequined aqua mini with a plunging neckline. How's that for a transformation? Aly's gone from little girl to sex pot. Check the photos out for yourself:

Today on ABC's Good Morning America, the cast of the spring 2013 season of Dancing With the Stars was announced and London Team Captain and gold medalist Aly Raisman was confirmed as part of the cast. Which dancing professional is she dancing with?
