Aliya Mustafina is Crowned the New European All Around Champion

Aliya Mustafina added the title of European All-Around Champion to her already stellar resume.

Coming off a successful Olympics, Musty beat out teammate, Anastasia Grishina and Romanian team silver medalist Larisa Iordache.

After some issues in the qualifying round, Princess Aliya was strong through out the competition. It certainly didn't hurt that her final rotation was the uneven bars, her best event. In the end, she took the title with a six tenth lead over Iordache.

The final standings were:

Gold Aliya Mustafina, 59.032
Silver Larisa Iordache 58.432
Bronze Anastasia Grishina 57.932

When I have more time, I will post a play by play of the competition.

Here's to you Miss Musty!

These women are tough for their perseverance, their bravery, and just generally being awesome.
