"I volunteer as tribute!"

Welcome to the 74th Annual Hunger Games, I mean, the 2012 London Olympics.

This is awesome. It's the trailer for Hunger Games, the movie based on Suzanne Collins' novel of the same title, with all gymnastics.
Aly Raisman is slotted as Jennifer Lawrence's character, Katniss. Aly/ Katniss volunteers to take the place of her sister, Gabby Douglas as Primrose as the District's female tribute. Jordyn Wieber is slotted as the male tribute, Peeta, Josh Hutcherson's character.

Aly's coach, Mihai Brestyan is featured as Cinna, the "stylist" and Alicia Sacramone and Marta Karolyi both make an appearance. It's so freaking awesome. I think it, and the gymnternet brings me what I want. The only thing that would be more awesome is if there were a Star Wars- Gymnastics themed trailer. Any volunteers?

Since this is a gymnastics blog, this article will focus on bad asses in the sport of gymnastics, particularly women in gymnastics. These women are tough for their perseverance, their bravery, and just generally being awesome.
