Baby Dominique Moceanu at the 1991 Jr National Championships

In 1992, Dominique Moceanu was a baby junior gymnast with big dreams.

The ten, soon to be eleven-year-old had started training with Bela and Marta Karolyi after her family moved to Texas in 1991.
Five years later, with the rest of the Magnificent Seven, Dominique won an the first Olympic team gold medal at the Olympics in Atlanta. 1992 was the time of Kim Zmeskal as she was training with Dominique in hopes of making the 1992 Olympic team to Barcelona.

Dominique's press handstand to reverse planche is just like Kim's and even in 1992, she had that Dominique spark that no amount of personal termoil that came later in her teen years could quite quell.
