News of casting notices for young ingenue actresses have been floating around the gymternet for a few weeks now and now, there is a Gabby Douglas and actress Regina King,  has been cast to play Gabby's mom, Natalie.

The lucky young woman cast to be the Olympic all around champion is Imani Hakim, who starred as Tonya on the series "Everybody Hates Chris." The twenty-year-old will play teenaged Gabby Douglas and Sydney Mykayla will play the younger version of Gabby.

No word on when production will start or when it is expected for release.
