Let's Get Ready to Tumble...With the Stars

Get your grips on ladies and gentlemen. The BBC announced today that they are officially launching a new gymnastics reality competition show.

The show, aptly titled "Let's Get Ready to Tumble" (get it?), will feature British Olympic medalists, Louis Smith and Beth Twedddle as gymnastics coaches. The format is the same as the popular "Strictly Come Dancing" or as we in the States call it "Dancing with The Stars." There will be a slew of celebrity competitors who will get a crash course in gymnastics 101 and compete for their shot at a prize.

The US isn't far behind, with an identical show in the works being pitched by 1996 Olympian and USA gymnastics emcee, John Macready.

Here's hoping for smooth sailing and great liability insurance.

These women are tough for their perseverance, their bravery, and just generally being awesome.
