There are very few beam acro series more glorious than Dominique Dawes' back-handspring to three layout step outs in a row.
I grew up watching Dominique Dawes and her mid- 90's cohorts and pretending to do beam routines on a "balance beam" or a strip of masking tape laid out on the carpet of my bedroom. Dominique is probably best known for her floor exercise, although she was consistent on all four events. On beam, she showed great extension and flexibility and of course, agility.
The signature series takes the entire length of the beam. She also includes a beautiful double turn and she uses the entire length of the beam to gain momentum for her full in dismount.
