Favorite Routines: Sarah Finnegan, Floor Exercise

In honor of Sarah Finnegan's return to competition after sitting out all of 2013 due to injury, I'm featuring Sarah's floor routine from the 2012 Visa Championships.

Sarah displays the beautiful artistry that seems to be a staple of GAGE, the gym she trains at.
This is the same gym that produced Courtney McCool and Terin Humphrey. Sarah has not only difficult tumbling and leaps, she has exquisite dance. Sarah's artistry is channeled in the ability to play a character. When that music starts, she is not a 15-year-old girl from the midwest, she is a bull fighter in Madrid, Spain. She certainly tumbles high enough that a bull could pass under her while she is performing that beautiful Dos Santos she does in her first tumbling pass.

These women are tough for their perseverance, their bravery, and just generally being awesome.
