Video Clips of Viktoria Komova Training

There is now video evidence of Russia's Viktoria Komova back in training.

Viktoria, who did not compete last year due to injuries and an unfortunate bout of viral meningitis, is looking much taller, obviously having grown in her time off.

The first video is a Russian news clip showing Vika training on the beam. She's training a full turn and some back handsprings.

The next video, she is training some basic back handsprings. This is where, to me, she looks more powerful. Vika's always been a wispy little waif of a girl and she's still very slender, but she looks like she has more muscle and her legs look much longer and her lines are accentuated.

Hopefully, Vika will return to competition this year.

These women are tough for their perseverance, their bravery, and just generally being awesome.
