Viktoria Komova to Compete at Russian Nationals

The word on the gymternet is 2012 Olympic Silver-Medalist, Viktoria Komova is going to be returning to competition at the Russian Championships this April.

Vika has been dealing with a slew of injuries that kept her out of competition for all of 2013. In addition to injuries, Vika came down with a case of viral meningitis that kepis her out of qualifying for the World Championships in Antwerp, Belgium.

According to Team Russia-Gymnastics Facebook page, Vika will be doing bars and beam for sure. There is a possibility she will do vault, but that is not for sure. The entire Russian senior national team (sans Ksenia Afanasyeva) will be present in Penza, March 31- April 6. The rumor from the gymternet is that Aliya Mustafina will be there as well.
