Anastasia Grishina Injured at Russian Nationals

Bad news for Anastasia Grishina. The 2012 team silver medalist and the 2013 European bronze medalist injured her knee on the floor exercise.

Rewriting Russian Gymnastics reports that Anastasia over-rotated her triple twist and fell to the ground. She had to be taken out of the arena on a stretcher.  It's rumored that she dislocated her knee cap, but she'll need an MRI to confirm the injury.

Anastasia sat out last year's world championships due to back injuries. Despite this unfortunate turn of events, Anastasia is trying to keep in good spirits. She posted a picture on her Instagram account with a large "Get Well Soon" Teddy Bear.

Here's hoping to a smooth recovery and smooth sailing from here on out for Anastasia.
