May National Team Training Camp: MyKayla Skinner Pulls a Katherine Grable

MyKayla Skinner is proving herself to be a valuable part of team USA.

At the National team training camp at the Karolyi Ranch, MyKayla has been looking stronger and more consistent than she has.

On vault, she's seen training her standard Amanar/Cheng set. MyKayla has been getting beautiful height and power on her Amanar. Her form has improved greatly on her Cheng (she's actually blocking with both hands).

On floor, MyKayla is seen throwing her double double layout she debuted last year. She's so powerful , that skill is second nature to her now. Her form has really improved since last year's P&G Championships. Her hips are open, her body is extended and she just floats that skill and let's it hang in the air for an eternity before she lands it perfectly. Even more awesome, she's pulling a Katherine Grable and training a double arabian half out.  Glorious!

These women are tough for their perseverance, their bravery, and just generally being awesome.
