Favorite Routines: Bailie Key; Floor Exercise Pac Rims Event Finals

Since Bailie Key's junior career has come to a close, I decided to feature her last routine as a junior in this edition of Favorite Routines.

This is Bailie during the event finals at the Pacific Rim Championships back in April. She took the gold medal for this event along with the vault and all-around titles. She is performing to Lindsey Stirling's "Crystalize." I love this choice of music, because it's so beautiful and dark, it makes it very distinct and I happen to like it when gymnasts chose floor music that I can remember.

Bailie's tumbling is clean and her landings are (for the most part) very nice.  Kim Zmeskal did a great job of choreographing this routine, it fits Bailie and the music very well.

Here's to Bailie. The next time we see her, she'll be a senior and will we able to compete at the next World Championships in Glasgow.

Since this is a gymnastics blog, this article will focus on bad asses in the sport of gymnastics, particularly women in gymnastics. These women are tough for their perseverance, their bravery, and just generally being awesome.
