At The Ranch - Featuring Nia Dennis and Alexis Vasquez and Bailie Key's New Skills

The first camp video of 2015 has been bestowed upon the Gymternet by the amazing gym gods at USA Gymnastics.

This video is a feature about the newest Team USA seniors, Bailie Key Miss "I win everything all the time", Nia "I have the best standing Arabian on beam ever", and Chow's newest ingenue, Alexis Vasquez.

The girls are all interviewed about their anticipation about becoming seniors. Bailie says she's excited to become a senior because she knows all the senior girls. Marta Karolyi, Team USA's women's team coordinator is interviewed and she talks about each of the girls and their strengths and weaknesses and of course, her goals for them.

Marta says she wants to see Alexis upgrade some of her skills and she wants to see Nia work on her consistency.

But the best part is Bailie is training some boss new skills.

On floor, she is seen training a Dos Santos, a piked double Arabian and on bars, Bailie has perfected Beckie Downie's eponymous skill (stalker backward to piked Tkatchev) bad, freaking ass! Bailie, who missed P&G Championships last year due to a minor injury, is clearly ready to get back out on the competition floor and start winning everything all over again.

I have created GIFs of Bailie's upgrades:

Since this is a gymnastics blog, this article will focus on bad asses in the sport of gymnastics, particularly women in gymnastics. These women are tough for their perseverance, their bravery, and just generally being awesome.
