Alyssa Baumann Training an Amanar

World team champion Alyssa Baumann has been caught on video upgrading her skills.  A video has surfaced of Alyssa training an Amanar (yurchenko style vault, round off on, 2 1/2 twists off).

This video has been floating around Tumblr for a while (yes, I am very behind and I am sorry) and  The Magnificent USA, Russian and Romania confirmed that this is Alyssa.

It's fun to see new skills that athletes are trying out. This is still not anywhere near ready for competition. She's doing it onto a mat in the pit and she's sitting it down. She may also still be twisting when she lands.  Alyssa still has time until Worlds and Championships later in the year, if she plans on having it competition ready by then.

These women are tough for their perseverance, their bravery, and just generally being awesome.
