Felicia Hano Training A Biles and Whip to Double Layout

Pan Ams Gold Medalist, Felicia Hano has been seen training some sick upgrades.

Felicia, who trains with Kyla Ross at Gym Max, has had GIFs surface of her from Team USA's January training camp training a whip to double layout combination on floor exercise which, if I am reading the code correctly is an A+F direct acrobatics combination and would give her 0.20 of bonus.

That combination is seriously awesome. She gets so much height and momentum, that by the angle of  the camera, makes her look like she's doing a Yurchenko double layout vault.

Next, she's adopted Simone Biles' eponymous skill, the Biles, a double layout with a half turn out. She has a good landing position and her chest is up, but she does bend her knees on that half turn into her landing. But still, she has super height and amplitude on this skill. Very cool. Hope she can add that skill into her routine come Championships!

Since this is a gymnastics blog, this article will focus on bad asses in the sport of gymnastics, particularly women in gymnastics. These women are tough for their perseverance, their bravery, and just generally being awesome.
