MyKayla Skinner Training a Full In on Beam

With the Rio Olympics just around the corner, gymnasts are adding new skills to their repertoire that they may possibly add to their routines when the time comes.

US gymnast, MyKayla Skinner is one such person. Skinner has been busy at work.

She debuted a new floor routine at the Fiesta Bowl the weekend before last. Most recently, she has been spotted on YouTube training a full in dismount, worth a "G," 0.7 in the code of points.

It's a huge skill. She's landing it on a regular mat and not in the pit. She has lots of power going into it, good height. She's still landing a little low, with her chest down and hops to the side. Overall, the skill is looking very strong. Skinner is due to represent Team USA at the Glasgow World Cup, March 12, at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow, Scotland.

These women are tough for their perseverance, their bravery, and just generally being awesome.
