USA Gymnastics 2016 Women's National Team Roster & Trials Competitors

With the conclusion of the P&G Gymnastics, eight gymnasts earned an automatic berth to the Olympic Trials next weekend in San Jose, California.

USA Gymnastics has announced the full national team roster for the seniors, additionally, all national team members will go on to compete at trials. 

Here are the ladies of team USA who will be competing for that coveted Olympic Team spot:

  • Christina Desiderio
  • Gabby Douglas
  • Brenna Dowell
  • Rachel Gowe
  • Laurie Hernandez
  • Amelia Hundley
  • Madison Kocian
  • Ashton Locklear
  • Maggie Nichols
  • Aly Raisman
  • Emily Schild
  • MyKayla Skinner
  • Ragan Smith

According to Nancy Armour, at USA Today, national team coordinator, Marta Karolyi already has the athletes in mind whom she would like to compose the Rio team. You can read the article here.

The Women's Olympic Trials will be held in San Jose, California, July 8 & 10. Sadly, tickets are completely sold out for this event. On the bright side, you'll still be able to watch in on TV. Broadcast details will be posted at a later date.
