Oklahoma @ Cal Live Blog

Welcome back!

Tonight, I'm following the Oklahoma at Cal meet. It's the last meet of the regular season before Conference Championships for these two teams.

I haven't been able to watch Oklahoma too much this season because Comcast doesn't carry the channel the Sooners are broadcast!

Anyways, refresh the page every few minutes for updates.

Per Jim Watson of the Pac-12 Network, Maggie Nichols will only be on bars and beam because she is nursing a sore knee.

For the first rotation - Oklahoma will be on bars and Cal will start on vault.

Alicia Gallarzo Cal VT - Y 1/2, over rotates and takes some big bounding steps out. 9.75

While listening to a podcast about badass people (nearly all of whom were men), I decided it was time to celebrate the badass-ness of women. Since this is a gymnastics blog, this article will focus on bad asses in the sport of gymnastics, particularly women in gymnastics. These women are tough for their perseverance, their bravery, and just generally being awesome.
