RIP Hot Pink Nation

Well, the time has come. Hot Pink Nation is officially no more.

The evidence was clear. All week, we've not seen a hint of hot pink (save for an ombre training leo) from the ladies at Team USA.

On Ashton Locklear's Snapchat, the ladies of Team USA were looking lovely in blue podium training leos, complete with tons and tons of sparkles.

The evidence:

Maybe it's graduation goggles, but ah, I'm a bit misty eyed at the dissolution of hot pink nation.

Or maybe it's that my glasses are a bit dirty.

I'm not sure.

Hot Pink Nation will be forever in the back of our memories, gone but not forgotten. I'm sure Hot Pink Nation will make a comeback one day when we least expect it.

Then we will need to do an intervention again.

Until that day comes, it's #LetsBlindEveryoneWithOurSparkles Nation. Or maybe just Sparkle Nation.

These women are tough for their perseverance, their bravery, and just generally being awesome.
