Victoria Moors Returns to Competition

After being mysteriously being absent from competition most of 2014, Canadian gymnast Victoria Moors is returning to competition. Victoria, who competed with Canada at the 2012 Olympic Games, will compete in Elite Canada which per the Gymternet , is her first competition back since she won bronze at the Canadian Championships in May. She was named to the Commonwealth Games team, but mysteriously withdrew for reasons unknown.

Brenna Dowell Gets Her First Perfect 10 of her NCAA Career

Last night, Brenna Dowell scored her first ever perfect 10 of her NCAA career. Oklahoma hosted the meet against Southeastern Missouri and Texas Women's University Friday night. The Sooners won with a 197.850. Brenna contributed her first perfect ten on the uneven bars to the Sooners' win.

MyKayla Skinner, Sam Mikulak and Donnell Whittenburg Join Simone Biles for the American Cup

USA Gymnastics has announced the rest of the field for the upcoming American Cup, being held March 7 in Dallas, Texas. Two time world champion, Simone Biles accepted the invitation to compete before the end of 2014, joining her will be her teammate and 2014 vault bronze medalist, MyKayla Skinner. Last year's men's American Cup champ, Sam Mikulak is accepting the invitation for the men for the second year in a row, he will be joined by his teammate, Donnell Whittenburg.

Roxana Popa Discovers She Has An Old ACL Tear

Spain's Roxana Popa will miss the next six months due to an injury she didn't know she had. An article on Marca.com released yesterday, stated Roxana, aka "Roxi" felt a pain in her knee during the Mexican Open in December and decided to get it checked out only to learn that she had torn her anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in her knee. Not only did she have a torn ACL, it turns out, the injury was an old injury.
