A Junior Champion Joins The American Cup Roster

On Valentine's Day, USA Gymnastics announced British junior all around champion Gabrielle Jupp would be taking one of the two spots vacated by American Elizabeth "Ebee" Price and Romania's Larisa Iordache.

The 15-year-old will be 16 in June which makes her a prospective candidate for the Worlds and potentially the European Championships which are also around the corner. She trains at Sapphire School of Gymnastics Limited in Hemel Hemstead under the tutelage of coach Steve Price. Although she wasn't old enough to compete with Great Britain in the Olympics, she served as a torch bearer for the Olympic torch relay and ran  London's Harrow to Barnet.

Gabby was the 2012 British Junior National Champion and she also won the junior all-around title at the English Championships in 2012 as well.  While Gabby is known as a strong all-around gymnast, she stands out on the floor exercise and beam.

USA Gymnastics will announce the final gymnast within the next two weeks.
