Tabitha Yim Takes Over As Stanford's New Head Coach

Just about a week after Kristen Smyth mysteriously "stepped down" as the head coach of the Stanford Women's Gymnastics Team, former Stanford gymnast and assistant coach, Tabitha Yim has now been announced as Stanford's head coach.

Musical NCAA Coach Gate 2017 - Kristen Smyth Resigns as Stanford Head Coach

Just when we thought that this game of musical NCAA gymnastics coaches, we were delivered another bombshell. Kristen Smyth, Stanford Women's Gymnastics head coach has resigned her position after 16 years . This comes per a press release on Stanford's website .

Washington @ Stanford Live Blog

It's Super Bowl Sunday gymnastics time! Today, it's brought to you by the PAC-12, bringing us Washington at Stanford. Stanford had a really strong meet against Arizona last weekend, pulling out a win in the last rotation. Will they keep it up or will Washington prevail? Refresh the page every 5 to 10 minutes for all the updates!

Arizona @ Stanford Live Blog

Okay, we're back in the Pac-12 with Arizona at Stanford. Stanford is home of the fantastic Elizabeth "Ebee" Price who, from what I have gathered, has been basically supporting this team on her back (this is all hearsay - I have yet to confirm this myself).  But, Stanford has been known to start slow and peak at just the right time. Arizona had some trouble at their first two meets, scoring 194.025 & 193.225. At their last meet at Iowa State, they showed a huge improvement with a 195.850. This should be a tight meet, so refresh the page every five to ten minutes for all the action!

NCAA Power Rankings: Regionals Edition

Well, Regionals have happened... It was rough, I gotta tell you. I've had a couple days, and I feel like I've emotionally recovered enough to do Power Rankings Regionals Editions. Or maybe this is just therapy for me. As per usual, these aren't the official Road to Nationals rankings (or in this case the rankings after Regionals), rather they are stories and people that have caught my attention throughout the week, whether it be note-worthy events or a reaction to something. Previously for Conference Championships, the power rankings were: 1. UCLA's side eye inducing beam total 2. Peng Peng Is Injured...Again 3. Florida wins the SEC Championship; Coach Jenny Rowland has her Oscar Moment 4. Kaytianna McMillian of Oregon State does a hella cool back spin on floor 5. Zoe Draghi of Cal's funky floor choreography 6. No tens for you, Ebee Price or McKenzie Wofford With that, here are the Regionals Power Rankings:

NCAA Power Rankings Week 9

It's Tuesday and that means it's time for NCAA Power Rankings. These aren't the official Road to Nationals rankings, rather they are stories and people that have caught my attention throughout the week, whether it be note-worthy events or a reaction to something. Last week, I talked about: # 1 LSU at Florida - Florida's home scoring benefits the visiting team, LSU # 2 Kelly Garrison's Oklahoma home meet commentary # 3 Maddie Gardiner is basically holding her whole team together # 4 Epic Beam Saves # 5 If Ebee Price Deserves a Traveling Group of Back-Up Dancers then Risa Perez deserves her own act in Vegas. # 6 Julia Ross of Denver FINALLY is Rewarded for her Glorious Beam Routine # 7 The Push to the Post Season Without further adieu, I present week 9 Power Rankings:

Stanford @ Oregon State Live Blog

It's February 29, 2016, Leap Day. Today, Stanford is leaping at Oregon State for a dual meet.  Hopefully, everyone will get credit for all their leaps on floor an beam tonight. To keep up with these leaping ladies and their gymnastics, refresh the page to follow along every few minutes or so.

Utah @ Stanford Live Blog

Tonight, Utah goes Ivy League tonight to compete against Stanford at home. Utah has apparently never won at Stanford. Will they break that streak tonight? Follow along and refresh the page every few minutes or so for all the action!

Tabitha Yim to Become Head Coach at Arizona

Former USA National team member Tabitha Yim has accepted a head coaching position at the University of Arizona Gymnastics team. She is replacing current head coach, Bill Ryden who is retiring after 17 years at the helm of Arizona Gymnastics.

Stanford's Beam Choreography

Let's face it, when one thinks of beam, awesome choreography is not the first thing that comes to mind. Mostly, beam choreography is a lot of arm waving in between a leap series or a turn. The gymnasts at Stanford University are looking to change that.

Ebee Price Retires from the National Team

The year of Ebee is no more.

NCAA Recruits From Stanford to Florida

The University of Florida and Stanford University have announced very exciting additions to their teams.
