Florida is back at home this week after being the road and two weeks after their meet with Oklahoma where they suspiciously won with the exact score they needed from Alyssa Baumann to win. Alabama is looking to notch a coveted 197 plus score to launch them into the upper echelons of the rankings once the RQS rankings kick in. Of course, the gymternet is looking to see if the infamous Carol makes an appearance and throws out 10.0 scores because, DTY. Refresh the page every five to ten minutes to keep up! Super Bowl weekend kicks off with another Florida match up, this time with Auburn. Since this is the SEC, we can expect nothing less than crack scoring, Carol or no Carol. Florida hit that 198 mark last week and notched a couple of tens from Alex McMurtry on vault and beam. Auburn is sitting at # 17 in the rankings and since I haven't seen them compete yet, I have no opinion as to what to expect.  Abby Millet is back this year, having been sidelined with an injury last year, so that's something. First rotation - Auburn the home team is on vault, Florida is on bars. We're in for an exciting match up. Kentucky is a team on the rise, having gained much attention over the past few years, slowly making their mark as a team ready to break through. Right now, they are tied with Florida in the rankings. How will they stack up against former NCAA champions, Florida? Refresh the page every five minutes or so to get all the action! For the first live blog of the week, we will be watching LSU at Florida. Florida opened their season last week at West Virginia. They came away with the win, but this wasn't their strongest meet. They scored 195.9, their lowest score since 2010. All was not lost as we saw the glorious debuts of Jazzy Foberg and Alyssa Baumann. LSU opened up their season with a solid 197.150 at home, not as high as they would like, but still a really great score for the first week. Highlights were Sami Durante's bars and Sarah Finnegan and her loveliness. Let's see what these two teams do this week. Refresh the page every 5 minutes or so for updates.

NCAA season is 24 days away and yesterday the NACGC/W preseason coaches' poll results were released. Claiming the top spot for another consecutive year is the reigning champions, Oklahoma. Denver received a boost from their 9th place finish to 8th. Florida beat out LSU for 2nd. Full results below the cut.

Today, 2014 US Junior National Champion, Jazmyn Foberg, announced she's decided to start her college career early and is headed to Florida in the fall. She announced her decision on her Instagram earlier today.

Ok kids, it's Friday and that means it's NCAA Gymnastics time! Tonight I'm live blogging the Florida at North Carolina meet. This meet is the first home meet for North Carolina and it's especially awesome since North Carolina is supporting LGBTQ rights with their #BeTrue theme they've adopted from Nike. Who to watch? Rachel Gowey is doing the all-around tonight for Florida and for North Carolina, Morgan Lane is the gymnast to watch. When you see her beam, you will understand what I am talking about. It's Friday and that means it's time to start a weekend of NCAA Gymnastics! Tonight, I'm starting with Kentucky at Florida. Florida and Kentucky had good starts to their seasons, both getting boosts in the rankings. Pay attention to Sidney Dukes, adorable kick ass ginger, from Kentucky.  Also, Amelia Hundley of Florida. She had a great showing in the all-around last weekend at NC State and I'm excited to see what she comes up with this week! Today is the 2017 debut for the Florida Gators. The Gators lost three of their big players including Bridget Sloan. They've got a lot a huge freshman class that includes Amelia Hundley and Rachel Gowey. So how will the Gators fare in their first meet of the season? Refresh the page every few minutes to find out!

The 2017 NCAA gymnastics season is starting tomorrow, Friday, Jan. 6th.  Oh it's the best time of the year. Tons of great gymnastics every week. Here is a preview of what is to come this weekend. The meets are all listed on this page and when applicable, links for live scoring and broadcast/streaming are provided.  Friday Jan. 6th -  #10 Georgia @ # 2 LSU - 7 ET/ 6 CT/ 5 MT/ 4 PT This is an SEC powerhouse match-up. Georgia has a legacy behind them, with 10 NCAA titles under their belt. LSU came in 2nd last year behind Oklahoma, their best finish ever. No doubt they're looking to finally get that coveted NCAA title that has eluded them. Georgia should put up a good fight, but LSU is at home and they haven't lost at home since before Facebook existed. But who can remember a time before Facebook, am I right?

 Peyton Ernst announced that she's transferred to the University of Alabama to complete her education and to continue her college gymnastics career.
