First live blog of Saturday afternoon featuring the first BIG 5 qualifying meet featuring Nebraska, Maryland, Illinois, Ohio State and Michigan State at Michigan State. So the first three finishers from this meet will qualify for the evening session of the BIG 10 Champs next week and the first three from the second meet tonight will qualify there as well. Yesterday was the land of the SEC, today we are in Big 10 country with Nebraska's opening meet at Penn State. Nebraska has some new faces that will be showing up since they lost a stellar class of seniors that included Ashley Lamber. Penn State is under the tutelage of a new coach, Sarah Shire Brown and are expected to see positive changes this season. Refresh the page every 5 minutes or so for updates!

In the span of a few days, 2016 Olympic Team member,Chris Brooks has gone from Olympian to retired gymnast to assitant NCAA gymnastics coach.

Ohio State is hosting tonight and they are joined by Nebraska, Illinois-Champaign, Maryland College Park and Michigan State. The first three finishers from this meet go to the evening session of the Big Ten Championships, for the biggest chance to win all the glory and all the bragging rights.
