I'm back after my break last weekend for a Big 10 - Pac 12 match-up with Minnesota and Arizona State. We're in a period of which I am going to call the "ASU Renaissance" since they're on track to make the national championships after years of struggling to qualify to regionals. Minnesota has a bevy of talented athletes, including Ivy Lu and freshwoman phenom, Lexy Ramler. I haven't been able to watch Minnesota this season, so I'm excited to see this meet. The 2017 NCAA gymnastics season is starting tomorrow, Friday, Jan. 6th.  Oh it's the best time of the year. Tons of great gymnastics every week. Here is a preview of what is to come this weekend. The meets are all listed on this page and when applicable, links for live scoring and broadcast/streaming are provided.  Friday Jan. 6th -  #10 Georgia @ # 2 LSU - 7 ET/ 6 CT/ 5 MT/ 4 PT This is an SEC powerhouse match-up. Georgia has a legacy behind them, with 10 NCAA titles under their belt. LSU came in 2nd last year behind Oklahoma, their best finish ever. No doubt they're looking to finally get that coveted NCAA title that has eluded them. Georgia should put up a good fight, but LSU is at home and they haven't lost at home since before Facebook existed. But who can remember a time before Facebook, am I right?

It's Tuesday, March 15 and, if you're familiar with Shakespeare, you may recall that it is the Ides of March. Beware the Ides of March!  It's also time for Power Rankings. As per usual, these aren't the official Road to Nationals rankings, rather they are stories and people that have caught my attention throughout the week, whether it be note-worthy events or a reaction to something. Time for Saturday gymnastics! This afternoon, it is the first qualifying session for the Big Ten Championships. Teams competing are: Michigan, Iowa, Rutgers, Minnesota and Penn State, who is also hosting. Refresh the page every 5-10 minutes for all the action!

Time for some live blogging! Sadly, due to unforseen circumstances, I am unable to live blog the Georgia, Stanford UCLA meet. Instead, I'm live blogging Denver, Minnesota at Air Force.
