It's Election Day in the US. The citizens are waiting with great anticipation or anxiety of what the future of the country is going to be.  Hilary Clinton or Donald Trump.  Political polarization threatens to tear the nation apart at it's delicate seams. Well, the gymnasts of Team USA are not choosing either choice, nor are they going with a third party, like Jill Stein or Gary Johnson, no, they're nominating one of their own.  Sort of... In honor of election day, the athletes were interviewed to find out, who among them would be a good candidate for the President of the United States of America. Spoiler alert - it's Aly Raisman by a landslide. Watch the video from USA Gymnastics-

The first day of event finals in Glasgow have concluded.  History was made yet again with a four person uneven bar tie for gold. Wait, wait, wait, what the fuck was that?  Yes, a FOUR way tie for uneven bars gold. Viktoria Komova, Daria Spiridonova, Fan Yilin and Madison Kocian, all with the exact same score, 15.366. Go home Glasgow judges,  you're officially DRUNK.

After two days of competition, Team USA brought home four gold medals and a silver at the Pan American Championships. Day one, the men and the women brought home a team gold medal and MyKayla Skinner was a surprise all-around winner. Day two - the first day of event finals. MyKayla Skinner, no surprise there, she took home the gold medal for the vault.

After two full days of competition at the P&G Championships, Simone Biles successfully defended her national title and Maggie Nichols proved that she is one of the top gymnasts in the US. On the Juniors side, Jazmyn Foberg took her first national all-around title after taking an early lead on night one, stealthily hitting 8 for 8 routines while her competitors had mistakes. A huge feat, especially considering this was her first nationals ever.

Nationals are almost here! As USA Gymnastics so blatantly put it, it's like Christmastime for gymnastics fans. Two years out from the Olympics and the competition is just getting more fierce. This year, the world championships will have a team competition so there will be more places to compete for. So who is in and who is out? Who will prosper and who will falter? The Seniors:

Following the conclusion of last week's training camp, USA Gymnastics has named the teams going to the City of Jesolo Trophy this weekend.

After missing out on last year's worlds due to injuries, Madison Kocian is showing everyone she is a contender.

The Final Night of the P&G Championships crowned a new victor. Simone Biles managed to keep her lead over Kyla Ross and win her first national title as a senior. A close competition, Simone won with two night total of 120.450 to Kyla Ross's  120.250, both women performed with all they had, but it came down to a couple of arm swings on the beam.

USA Gymnastics has announced that Madison Kocian of WOGA has withdrawn from the P&G Championships after injuring her ankle on the floor exercise.

Nationals is off with a bang.  Quite literally. A challenger to the throne. After the first night of competition at the P&G National Championships, Simone Biles has managed to overthrow Kyla for the top spot. Kyla Ross, who is favored to win it all, started off on floor exercise.
