2012 Team Gold medalist and vault silver medalist and inspiration of the "McKayla is not impressed" meme has been absent from the elite gymnastics scene mostly due to injury.

McKayla Maroney has been in the news for reasons not related to her gymnastics. Instead of talking about what she does in her private life, it's time to talk about her gymnastics, specifically, her vault.

Ever wanted to know what the lego interpretation of McKayla Maroney's perfect Amanar or Viktoria Komova's bars would be like? Probably not, but the folks at The Guardian  (a U.K. based news outlet) have posted this hilarious video of Olympic gymnastics, with Legos.  It's freaking AWESOME.

McKayla Maroney is going to sparking up primetime television this weekend.

It's that particular Thursday in November where we Americans stuff ourselves full of turkey and gravy and give thanks. Hence,  Thanksgiving. Today, I would like to express my gratitude for everything that has made me happy this year in the world of gymnastics.

The last USA women's training camp for 2013 concluded today, at the Karolyi Ranch outside of Houston, Texas.

The first day of the event finals turned out to be a great continuance from the high of yesterday's women's all around finals. USA put four more athletes on the medal podium with three silvers, a gold and a bronze medal.
