More Pac-12 this afternoon with UCLA at Cal. UCLA @ Arizona Live Blog

Time for more Pac 12 fun with UCLA at Arizona. I missed UCLA last week because Elevate the Stage was literally held during last week's Air Force at Denver home opener. Yep. I'm out of clever quips at the moment. According to Risa Perez's twitter, there is a dance party going on down in Tuscon, with at least one person. I expect more dance parties. Just saying. Ohio State @ UCLA Live Blog

Time for one more meet for today. This evening, it's Ohio State (or THE Ohio State) at UCLA. It's always interesting to see what UCLA will do, they've got this talented bunch of former elites, Olympians etc. This week has apparently been brought to you by the Twilight Zone, so we'll see what happens. Hopefully no on lands vault in another dimension. Refresh the page every 5 - 10 mins for updates

Norah Flatley Retires From Elite

It's a sad day for the gymternet. Norah Flatley, once prominent junior gymnast for Team USA has announced she is stepping down from elite. Norah, who trains with legendary coach, Liang Chow, announced her plans via Instagram. Norah will finish her club career out in Level 10 before she starts her NCAA career at UCLA in the fall of 2018.

NCAA National Champs - Is it 2018 Yet?

The NCAA Gymnastics Championships has concluded for 2017. Thus begins the void between the end of NCAA season and the start of elite season heading in to world championships. I have been in St. Louis last weekend catching all the action. We're still 8 months out from the start of NCAA season in 2018, so lets take some time to recap real quick and provide some closing thoughts.

UCLA @ Oklahoma Live Blog

UCLA travels to Oklahoma for their second meet of the season and Oklahoma is at home two weeks in a row. This is going to be the battle of the elites, Olympians Kyla Ross and Madison Kocian versus fellow elites and world champs, Maggie Nichols and Brenna Dowell. I'm here providing you all the good, juicy details, so refresh the page every few minutes for all the info.

NCAA Gymnastics 2017 - Week 1 Preview

The 2017 NCAA gymnastics season is starting tomorrow, Friday, Jan. 6th.  Oh it's the best time of the year. Tons of great gymnastics every week. Here is a preview of what is to come this weekend. The meets are all listed on this page and when applicable, links for live scoring and broadcast/streaming are provided.  Friday Jan. 6th -  #10 Georgia @ # 2 LSU - 7 ET/ 6 CT/ 5 MT/ 4 PT This is an SEC powerhouse match-up. Georgia has a legacy behind them, with 10 NCAA titles under their belt. LSU came in 2nd last year behind Oklahoma, their best finish ever. No doubt they're looking to finally get that coveted NCAA title that has eluded them. Georgia should put up a good fight, but LSU is at home and they haven't lost at home since before Facebook existed. But who can remember a time before Facebook, am I right?

NCAA Power Rankings: Regionals Edition

Well, Regionals have happened... It was rough, I gotta tell you. I've had a couple days, and I feel like I've emotionally recovered enough to do Power Rankings Regionals Editions. Or maybe this is just therapy for me. As per usual, these aren't the official Road to Nationals rankings (or in this case the rankings after Regionals), rather they are stories and people that have caught my attention throughout the week, whether it be note-worthy events or a reaction to something. Previously for Conference Championships, the power rankings were: 1. UCLA's side eye inducing beam total 2. Peng Peng Is Injured...Again 3. Florida wins the SEC Championship; Coach Jenny Rowland has her Oscar Moment 4. Kaytianna McMillian of Oregon State does a hella cool back spin on floor 5. Zoe Draghi of Cal's funky floor choreography 6. No tens for you, Ebee Price or McKenzie Wofford With that, here are the Regionals Power Rankings:

Utah Regional Live Blog

I'm back. I've recovered from the trauma of the last regional and I'm here to provide all the deets for the Utah Regional from Salt Lake City. As per usual, refresh the page every few minutes to follow along.

NCAA Power Rankings Conference Championships

It's that time of the week and time for for my weekly power rankings. Once again, these rankings are not based on the official Road to Nationals rankings, but rather these are stories and or people that have intrigued me or caught my attention this week. Last week's power rankings were: 1. Soooo many perfect tens 2. Morgan Lane of North Carolina's Beam Routine 3. Battle of the beamers - Chayse Capps versus Danusia Francis 4.  The Big Fives - competing to compete for bragging rights in the Big Ten 5.  Shawn Johnson Professes Her Love for NCAA Gymnastics, and the reasons we all watch and love it 6.  Allie Northey Beats the Second Ranked All-Arounder in the NCAA on Senior Night Without further adieu, let's get to this week's power rankings!

PAC 12 Gymnastics Championships Evening Session Live Blog

More gymnastics! Tonight it's the  PAC 12 gymnastics evening session I'm late because I had to find a stream that would work. But we're following Utah, Cal, Oregon State and UCLA. It should be intense competition! Utah are the defending champs, but they're facing stiff competition! Refresh the page every few minutes for updates!

NCAA Power Rankings Week 10

It's Tuesday, March 15 and, if you're familiar with Shakespeare, you may recall that it is the Ides of March. Beware the Ides of March!  It's also time for Power Rankings. As per usual, these aren't the official Road to Nationals rankings, rather they are stories and people that have caught my attention throughout the week, whether it be note-worthy events or a reaction to something. Last week's Power Rankings were # 1 The Rankings Shakeups # 2 Greg Mardsen throwing shade at SEC scoring during the Georgia, Stanford & UCLA tri-meet # 3 Will the real Stanford please stand-up? # 4 Lindsay Mable # 5 Beam Fails # 6 Jessie Peszek Without further adieu, I present this weeks rankings:

Oklahoma @ UCLA Live Blog

It's the showdown we have all been waiting for. UCLA versus Oklahoma, one beam team takes on another. Last weekend, UCLA lost at Pauley Pavillion for the first time like, ever when they hosted Stanford and Georgia. Oklahoma has been almost unbeatable, sans the loss at LSU in the first week of the season.  Will Oklahoma crush UCLA's dreams or will they rise to the occasion. Refresh the page every few minutes or so to find out!

NCAA Power Rankings Week 9

It's Tuesday and that means it's time for NCAA Power Rankings. These aren't the official Road to Nationals rankings, rather they are stories and people that have caught my attention throughout the week, whether it be note-worthy events or a reaction to something. Last week, I talked about: # 1 LSU at Florida - Florida's home scoring benefits the visiting team, LSU # 2 Kelly Garrison's Oklahoma home meet commentary # 3 Maddie Gardiner is basically holding her whole team together # 4 Epic Beam Saves # 5 If Ebee Price Deserves a Traveling Group of Back-Up Dancers then Risa Perez deserves her own act in Vegas. # 6 Julia Ross of Denver FINALLY is Rewarded for her Glorious Beam Routine # 7 The Push to the Post Season Without further adieu, I present week 9 Power Rankings:
