For this edition of Gymnast Profiles, I am featuring Anastasia Grishina. Olympic Team Silver Medalist and 2013 All-Around Bronze Medalist at the European Championships. For this Gymnast Profiles edition, I am featuring European Championships Silver Medalist, Larisa Iordache. Vital Statistics Date of Birth: June 19, 1996 Age: 16 going on 17 Height:1.50 meters, 4'11" Hometown: Bucharest, Romania Club: CSS Dinamo Coaches: Octavian Belu and Mariana Bitang Best Events: Balance beam and Floor Exercise Nickname: Pici Larisa Iordache has been called the next Nadia. It's easy to see why. In her first year as a senior, Larisa was a part of the gold medal winning Romanian team at the 2012 European Championships and helped the Romanians bring home the bronze medal at the London Olympics in July.

This edition of Favorite Routines features Romanian upstart, Larisa Iordache. Larisa was a member of the bronze medal winning team at the London Olympics and Romania is the defending European Championship team. The Romanians have suffered a depletion of their team, Catalina Ponor officially resigned from elite gymnastics, and Diana Chelaru and Raluca Haidu throwing their hands up at elite gymnastics, they are scrambling to find replacements.On the upside, it's the perfect opportunity for Larisa to take center stage.

Gymnast Profiles Victoria Moors

 This week, I'm getting my Canadian on with this gymnast profile is featuring Canadian gymnast Victoria Moors. Eh Hosers? Victoria Moors Vital Statistics Date of Birth: November 5, 1996  Age: 16 Height: 5'0" (153 cm) Place of Birth: Surrey, British Columbia, Canada Current Residence: Cambridge, Ontario, Canada Gym: Dynamo Gymnastics Coach: Elvira Saadi Eponymous Skills: On the uneven bars, dismount, under-swing to laid out forward salto with a half turn.  Victoria Moors is the epitome of adorable with her tiny gymnast stature, long dark hair and dark eyes and a pixie-ish upturned nose. The small stature contains a little fireball of a girl who prances around the floor like a beauty queen in a swimsuit competition. The final spot up for grabs for this weekend American Cup has been announced and USA Gymnastics confirms that the spot will be filled by (drum roll please)....

A Junior Champion Joins The American Cup Roster

On Valentine's Day, USA Gymnastics announced British junior all around champion Gabrielle Jupp would be taking one of the two spots vacated by American Elizabeth "Ebee" Price and Romania's Larisa Iordache.

American Cup Line-Up Announced

On Friday, USA Gymnastics announced the competitors for the 2013 American Cup. New favorites will be competing along with returning favorites. Representing the American women, Fierce Five member, Kyla Ross will compete along with 2012 World Cup winner Elizabeth "Ebee" Price. It's certainly exciting for these girls, it's the start of a new quadrennium and  it's a chance for the girls to show their stuff. For the past 10 years, nearly every American Cup competition had American gymnasts going 1-2 on the podium stand.

Don't Call it A Comeback

Since the London Olympics have come and gone, many of our favorite champions are making plans to score a coveted spot on the team in Rio.  there will be new age eligible juniors popping up over the next four years and veteran seniors hoping for their shot at Olympic Glory.
