The last day of the women's P&G Gymnastics Championships are upon us. Tonight, the national champion will be crowned and the national team will be named. Most importantly, we will know who will advance to Trials in two weeks in San Jose. Here are some notes from night one - Simone Biles is currently the leader (I know HUGE surprise- and I mean that very sarcastically), leading with a ginormous 62.9. She's basically got a healthy two point plus lead over current second place holders, Aly Raisman and Laurie Hernandez who are both holding steady with a solid 60.450. Laurie has been cool has a cucumber this whole competition. Her coach, Maggie Haney I assume is a follower of the KJ Kindler/Oklahoma philosophy of competition (Basically, don't worry about anything else besides what you can control). It's working so far, Laurie is making a stellar senior debut and she's definitely making a name for herself for a spot on that Rio team. Plus, you gotta love t...
