Where did the time go? Seems like the season just started last week and yet, here we are two-thirds through the season.

With RQS rankings being official, the push is going to be to getting a spot at regionals or if you're Oklahoma, flexing your metaphorical muscle because this is just the dress rehearsal for post-season.

Featured meets:

Friday, March 2nd -

Ohio State @ Kentucky

Kentucky continues their push to make it into nationals. Last weekend, they broke the 197 glass ceiling to solidify their ranking at # 9. They are at home again this week and the pressure will be on the Wildcats to hit that benchmark again this weekend.

Georgia, Nebraska, Illinois & Stanford @ Elevate the Stage

The final installment in the Elevate series. Georgia needs this road score to boost their standings and be in a better seeding position for Regionals and battling Nebraska.

Florida @ Missouri

Florida is on the road, but it's a period of mourning as it's only one week after Kennedy Baker injured her Achilles at home on floor. Thus putting an end to her career. I expect them to be clothed in the standard mourning dress and by them I mean both teams. Because everyone is still sad. RIP Kennedy Baker's gymnastics career.

North Carolina @ Alabama

Alabama might be sitting in #6 right now, but Michigan is right on their tail. Bama needs to still drop a 196.525 and as long as there is not some sort of comical disaster. Much like Florida, Bama is also in mourning for Mackenzie Brannon's gymnastics career as like Baker, she too tore her Achilles. She was only on bars, but it's a solid, reliable routine they need to replace.  Expect UNC to hold their own against this team as they're an underdog team that is full of talent. Watch Madison Nettles, and of course, there's the glorious Morgan Lane and look for Khazia Hislop's huge tumbling.

Saturday, March 3rd

Michigan @ Oklahoma

While Michigan is looking to overtake Alabama with a solid road score in hopes of scoring a # 1 seeding position at regionals come post-season. For Oklahoma, it's a "hold my beer" moment, as long as there are no beam-tastrophes happening.

Arizona State @ Minnesota

Arizona State is in their best position in years. At # 13 now, they're looking at a seeded spot at Regionals and could very well become a challenger at Nationals. At Minnesota, they'll need to notch another solid road score. Minnesota is looking to climb out of the 25th spot in the rankings and will be needing to hit in the 196 range to pull themselves up.

Sunday, March 4th

UCLA, Kent State, Nebraska & Iowa State @ Master's Classic

UCLA is in a good position coming into this week's competitions, sitting in # 2 and looking championship worthy. For Nebraska, this is their second meet of the weekend having competed at Elevate the Stage on Friday evening.

Auburn @ LSU

UCLA passed over LSU to claim the # 2 spot, making the Tigers fall to # 3 after a not-good-for-them meet last weekend. They meet another group of Tigers on their home turf Sunday, so expect lots of Tiger puns.

Gustavus Adolphus, Hamline, UW Eau Claire, UW Oshkosh, UW Stout, UW Whitewater, Winona State @ NCGA/WIAC Championships - DIII West Regional

Nothing says "post season is almost here" more than the start of post season for Division III. UW La Crosse goes into this regional undefeated so far in the regular season, but they'll have to face last year's champions, UW Whitewater
